Partner Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence

Let us introduce to you today a second industry partner of D-STANDART: Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, a part of Hexagon AB, the global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies.

Hexagon’s origins can be traced back to 1975 Sweden, although the company was formally incorporated as Hexagon AB in 1993. Starting from 2000, Hexagon focused on a new mission and became a leader in sensors and software that would ultimately form the backbone of its digital reality solutions portfolio. Today, the company has over 24000 employees in 50 countries.

Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division brings its expertise on computer-aided engineering software development to the D-STANDART project. Five affiliates over Europe (Germany, Spain, Italy, France, and Belgium) are involved in several project stages from AI surrogate model to digital threads, including the work on manufacturing defects and modelling. HMI has also a central role in the commercial exploitation of D-STANDART, as well as the project’s dissemination and training activities.
